The challenge
Billing ran on Excel, Tally and other applications, and managing every type of bill together with finance was tough.
An airport raises many different kinds of bills: charges for flight movements, commercial bills for contracts, electricity, water and royalty, terminal bills such as airport passes, and expenditure bills to vendors. Each has its own rules, rates and approvals.
Managing every type of bill, and keeping all of it together with finance, was tough.
Catabatic built one system for the Airports Authority of India (AAI). All revenue billing and expenditure bills are managed in it, together with finance.
What we built
Staff work through traffic billing, commercial billing, terminal billing, vendor payments and the accounts in the same application, and every bill type goes through its own approval step.
Traffic
The daily work of managing movements and billing them.
Permission
Add permissions and see the full list of permissions.
AOCC log
Arrivals and departures show by date. Staff enter the actual times and add non-scheduled flights with an arrival form.
Cash and carry
Movements marked cash and carry get a cash invoice, which is handed to the airline against payment.
Invoicing
Landing, parking, UDF, PSF, pushback and other invoices for the remaining movements.
Update before approval
Passenger count, nautical mile (up to 165 or above) and other details are updated first.
Approve invoices
Each generated invoice is approved before it is final.
Search

Invoice configuration

- 3
Check and approve
